Internet Addiction

Here are some interesting facts presented by Pew Research.


  • According to a 2021 survey, 88% of children ages 13–18 and 57% of children ages 8–12 had a smartphone in their home. Another source says that 53% of children have a smartphone by age 11, and over 95% of teens ages 13–17 have access to a cell phone.

  • According to Pew Research, 80% of parents say their child ages 5–11 ever uses or interacts with a tablet computer.

  • Streaming services, a ccording to a 2021 survey, 84% of children in the United States subscribe to streaming services.
