The PS2 version has a bonus feature which allows players to purchase items at the end of each level by finding secrets.[21] In the Xbox version a Secret Bonus is awarded after every level when all the secret areas for that level have been found.[21] It also has several new equipable items and weapons as well as new enemies. The two-player co-op mode is exclusive to Xbox and allows the second player to play as Agent One, altering the game in which he was never killed and played out the missions to the end. This allows for the story to support that Agent One either survived. Xbox version also has downloadable content,[27][28][29] system link play and had online multiplayer via Xbox Live before Live play was disabled for original Xbox games.[25] A Platinum Hits edition of the game was also released for the Xbox.[30] The PlayStation 2 version does not support online multiplayer.[31]

A multiplayer-only spinoff of the series, Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory, was originally planned as a full-fledged expansion pack for Return to Castle Wolfenstein developed by Splash Damage. The single-player component of the game was never completed and thus was removed entirely. The developers at that point decided the multiplayer part would be released as a free, downloadable standalone game. Enemy Territory is a team-based networked multiplayer game which involves completing objectives through teamwork using various character classes.

Abstract:Seizures are the most common presentation in patients with cerebral cavernous malformations (CCMs). Based on the hypothesis that the volume or proportion of gray matter (GM) displaced by CCMs is associated with the risk of seizure, we developed an algorithm by which to quantify the volume and proportion of displaced GM and the risk of seizure. Image analysis was conducted on 111 patients with solitary CCMs (divided into seizure and nonseizure groups) from our gamma knife radiosurgery (GKRS) database from February 2005 and March 2020. The CCM algorithm proved effective in quantifying the GM and CCM using T1WI MRI images. In the seizure group, 11 of the 12 patients exhibited seizures at the initial presentation, and all CCMs in the seizure group were supratentorial. The location of the limbic lobe within the CCM was significantly associated with the risk of seizure (OR = 19.6, p = 0.02). The risk of seizure increased when the proportion of GM displaced by the CCM exceeded 31%. It was also strongly correlated with the volume of displaced GM. The volume and proportion of displaced GM were both positively correlated with the risk of seizure presentation/development and thus could be used to guide seizure prophylaxis in CCM patients. Keywords: cerebral cavernous malformation; seizure; displaced gray matter; biomedical imaging analysis

Playing first-person shooter video games causes some users to lose grey matter in a part of their brain associated with the memory of past events and experiences, a new study by two Montreal researchers concludes.

After 90 hours of playing first-person shooter games such as Call of Duty, Killzone, Medal of Honour and Borderlands 2, the brain scans of response learners showed what West said is "statistically significant" grey matter loss in the hippocampus.

People love free steam games, no doubt. But what many people hate is downloading so many parts and trying to install them on their own. This is why we are the only site that pre-installs every game for you. We have many categories like shooters, action, racing, simulators and even VR games! We strive to satisfy our users and ask for nothing in return. We revolutionized the downloading scene and will continue being your #1 site for free games.

On Gametap you can play anything they have on their service, many of them for free, but much much more for a low monthly fee. That fee lets me setup multiple users, so we each have our own games. The only real limitations are download speed, hard drive space, and whether a title is on Gametap or not. They can, of course, remove a game whenever they want to.

@Adam: The closest thing I can think of to DRM on consoles, would regard to A: online activation of 1-player console games, B: limited downloads of games (i.e. PSN, XBLA), and C: locking game data to a single machine. (Supposing you owned two Wiis, the inability to share save files/game data between systems.) Only B and C are potential problems, regarding consoles. 041b061a72
